Sauvignon Blanc, Richmond Plains 2003
£9.22 per bottle
A classic Sauvignon style with some citrus/limey characters and herbal highlights on the nose enriched by sweeter passionfruit notes. The palate is full and generous showing strong gooseberry flavours, a steely, minerally edge and a good long finish. This vintage is slightly softer than the last with a lovely fullness on the middle palate. In David Holmes’ opinion – ‘I think it is my favourite of all the Sauvignon Blancs we have produced over the years’.
